No previous
jazz or band experience necessary.
All students will be placed in a group based upon ability.
Beginners
with one year of experience are welcome.
Each student
will meet daily for jazz ensemble, master instrument classes,
jazz theory and ear training.
Size of
each ensemble group is limited to seven or fewer.
Supervised
90 minute sport or recreational activity each day. Use of
available Lasell College facilities for soccer, basketball,
ect.
Tuition
is: $475 . A deposit of $150 will hold your place until August.

2:00-3:00 Master Class
3:00-4:00 Jazz Ensemble
4:00-4:30 Parent Pickup
Late pickup available until 5:00 PM
for nominal charge
Final performance to follow on Friday

Harvey
Finstein and Phil Neighbors have successfully led over 100
student jazz bands since the school opened in 1993.
Their experience will guide students to:
Develop improvisational skills.
Improve
proficiency on their instrument.
Gain confidence
through performance experiences.
Improve
concentration and visualization skills.
Develop
an appreciation for and understanding of jazz.
Gain self-respect
and appreciate the efforts of others through group interaction.
Develop
a love for playing music.
